FAQs

  • Group supervision sessions are $40 per hour and individual 1:1 supervision sessions are $20 per 15 minutes, or $80 per hour.

  • It depends on your specific supervision needs. Students who are collecting hours for their certification will need between 5-10% of their fieldwork hours supervised by a BCBA. Individual supervision sessions are scheduled according to availability between you and your direct supervisor, however it is recommended that you meet with your supervising BCBA on a weekly basis.

For more information about specific supervision requirements, visit https://www.bacb.com/bcba/ to learn more.

Group supervision sessions are hosted by Behavioral Basics throughout the month and depend on the current amount of supervisees available to attend. Because of this, the number of group supervision sessions available to you will vary month to month.

  • Supervision curriculum used by each supervising BCBA may vary. BCBAs providing services through Behavioral Basics have access to shared curriculum and materials, but specific materials and assignments will be individualized for each supervisee’s personal and professional needs.

  • Years of experience and type of experience will vary between supervisors. All supervisors currently working with Behavioral Basics have completed the 8-hour supervision training required by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) in order to provide supervision and sign off on all verification forms.

  • Prior to signing a supervision contract with one of our BCBAs, you will have a 30 minute virtual meeting with a potential supervisor to determine if they are a good fit for you. This first meeting is free of charge and provides an opportunity for you to ask your potential supervisor any questions about the supervision process and what that will look like. If for any reason you do not want to sign a contract with the first BCBA you meet with, let us know and we will help you get connected with another BCBA as additional supervisors become available.

  • Yes, you may collect your fieldwork hours with multiple BCBA supervisors. The option to connect with multiple BCBAs through Behavioral Basics will depend on BCBA availability, but you can let us know if you are interested in collecting your fieldwork hours from multiple supervisors and we will let you know when another supervisor becomes available.
